Is this the same as a building survey?
No. This is a visual roof inspection from the air. It cannot assess hidden structure, confirm that a roof is watertight or guarantee that every defect will be visible. Use the images to discuss any concerns with a qualified roofer or building surveyor.
Do I need to be at the property?
We will agree access and arrangements with you beforehand. We may need permission to use a suitable take-off and landing area. Tell us about gates, shared access, tenants and any restrictions when you enquire.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
Wind, rain, visibility, airspace and the surroundings can affect whether a flight is possible. We assess the site before flying and agree a different date if conditions are unsuitable.
